What is Tapping?

Tapping, also known as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), is a powerful holistic healing technique that has been proven to effectively resolve a range of issues. It is based on the combined principles of ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology.

The basic Tapping technique requires you to focus on a negative emotion at hand - a fear, a worry, a bad memory, an unresolved problem, or anything that's bothering you. While maintaining your mental focus on this issue, you use your fingertips to tap 5-7 times on 9 specific meridian points of the body.

Tapping on these meridian endpoints, while verbally or mentally addressing the root cause of distress, sends a calming signal from the body to the brain, allowing you to feel relaxed and in control.

How Does it Work?

Tapping makes full use of the mind-body connection, acknowledging and integrating the concepts that physical pain, disease, and mental wellbeing are intricately connected to our emotional states.

When we tap with the fingertips on specific meridian endpoints of the body, while focusing on negative emotions or physical sensations, both the brain's limbic system and the body's energy system are engaged, encouraging a sense of safety and resolution.

Through tapping, we're able to calm the nervous system, rewire the brain to respond in healthier ways, and restore the body's balance of energy.

Thanks to the incredible work of researchers, scientists, and participants over the past 20+ years, there have been hundreds of studies conducted on proving the effectiveness of EFT Tapping.

I have been using this Tapping Solutions tool for 2 months, and am so impressed with it! The library of different tapping meditations is extensive, with a huge collection for sleep ones that have made a big impact on my life. I was having a hard time falling asleep, and once I started using the tapping meditations, I would fall asleep in 10 minutes (compared to over an hour!). The music is great, and the whole app is top quality. Thank you for this amazing self-care tool!

I came upon this meditation app from Jim Kwik podcast. At first I thought it sounded a little “far out“ but I tried it on recommendation from a friend. It worked! I am in nursing school currently and we are studying anxiety. Tapping is listed as one of the non-Pharmacological methods for treating anxiety. This app has brought me tremendous relief from the anxiety and fear I normally live with. It is amazing how relevant to my life it is. Thanks so much Orteners!!

I was a little hesitant to try out tapping but this app is amazing!! They have such a great selection and resources. I use this app at least twice a day, it has even helped me better my meditation practice which I found very hard to do in the past! I love this app!

The tapping solution app is fantastic! I got the book years before getting this app. I have done tapping on my own, but this app makes it so easy and accessible anytime. There is always something there that speaks to me and is useful. I have found great results. Also I love that they make the background music available on its own. I have used this many times when I just want to feel the peace that this music brings and I have also used it during other guided meditations.. Everyone should try more

I'm just going to say, it's easy to find EFT videos on Youtube and all the various teachers who add their own flavor to the practice. You can find tapping videos for miracles, money, and a host of other things. I got caught up in the more superfluous topics and eventually the appeal faded, and I was onto my next high. This app has helped me re-line and repair my energetic pathways. I have many symptoms of CPTSD, and am an ACOA and a recovering addict. Even though I meditate daily, strong emotions get stuck inside of me and block me from moving on or letting go.
