What is Tapping?

Tapping, also known as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), is a powerful holistic healing technique that has been proven to effectively resolve a range of issues. It is based on the combined principles of ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology.

The basic Tapping technique requires you to focus on a negative emotion at hand - a fear, a worry, a bad memory, an unresolved problem, or anything that's bothering you. While maintaining your mental focus on this issue, you use your fingertips to tap 5-7 times on 9 specific meridian points of the body.

Tapping on these meridian endpoints, while verbally or mentally addressing the root cause of distress, sends a calming signal from the body to the brain, allowing you to feel relaxed and in control.

How Does it Work?

Tapping makes full use of the mind-body connection, acknowledging and integrating the concepts that physical pain, disease, and mental wellbeing are intricately connected to our emotional states.

When we tap with the fingertips on specific meridian endpoints of the body, while focusing on negative emotions or physical sensations, both the brain's limbic system and the body's energy system are engaged, encouraging a sense of safety and resolution.

Through tapping, we're able to calm the nervous system, rewire the brain to respond in healthier ways, and restore the body's balance of energy.

I really love this app. I’ve known how to do basic tapping for a while, but appreciate the more advanced guided sessions. I also really love that the sessions are set to calming music and just generally enjoy my tapping experience so much more now that I have this app.

An amazing app! Every topic of an issue you’d want to tap on is probably available, and if it isn’t, just suggest it, as they add new ones all the time! Buy the paid version, it’s absolutely worth it for all the content you get, especially if you’re already a fan or a dedicated user of tapping. I knew from past experiences I found eft helpful, but I found it hard to be consistent with it. Now I’ve tapped 12 days in a row so far. Thank you for this creation!

Over time I’ve tried a vast array of self help/counseling modalities with no real, lasting changes. Until tapping, that is. From the moment I started I realized this is for me.
