What is Tapping?

Tapping, also known as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), is a powerful holistic healing technique that has been proven to effectively resolve a range of issues. It is based on the combined principles of ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology.

The basic Tapping technique requires you to focus on a negative emotion at hand - a fear, a worry, a bad memory, an unresolved problem, or anything that's bothering you. While maintaining your mental focus on this issue, you use your fingertips to tap 5-7 times on 9 specific meridian points of the body.

Tapping on these meridian endpoints, while verbally or mentally addressing the root cause of distress, sends a calming signal from the body to the brain, allowing you to feel relaxed and in control.

How Does it Work?

Tapping makes full use of the mind-body connection, acknowledging and integrating the concepts that physical pain, disease, and mental wellbeing are intricately connected to our emotional states.

When we tap with the fingertips on specific meridian endpoints of the body, while focusing on negative emotions or physical sensations, both the brain's limbic system and the body's energy system are engaged, encouraging a sense of safety and resolution.

Through tapping, we're able to calm the nervous system, rewire the brain to respond in healthier ways, and restore the body's balance of energy.

The new update has created a problem whereby when I open the app now and go to my downloads category it seems to have to re-download them all over again. This is not due to internal storage space I believe it is occurring every time there is an update to the app. My list slowly repopulates one by one until my 8 fav are all re downloaded. Unfortunately that completely defeats the purpose of having downloaded tappings in the first place. They should be the quickest and easiest to get to. Wh...read more

I used the free version of this app for a while and got so much from it that I decided to try the paid version. Tapping has instantly calmed my panic attacks and fearful situations. This app is very easy to use. I love the downloadable features. Everyone’s instructional voice is soothing and the music is lovely. This is truly the best calming app I have found!
