What is Tapping?

Tapping, also known as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), is a powerful holistic healing technique that has been proven to effectively resolve a range of issues. It is based on the combined principles of ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology.

The basic Tapping technique requires you to focus on a negative emotion at hand - a fear, a worry, a bad memory, an unresolved problem, or anything that's bothering you. While maintaining your mental focus on this issue, you use your fingertips to tap 5-7 times on 9 specific meridian points of the body.

Tapping on these meridian endpoints, while verbally or mentally addressing the root cause of distress, sends a calming signal from the body to the brain, allowing you to feel relaxed and in control.

How Does it Work?

Tapping makes full use of the mind-body connection, acknowledging and integrating the concepts that physical pain, disease, and mental wellbeing are intricately connected to our emotional states.

When we tap with the fingertips on specific meridian endpoints of the body, while focusing on negative emotions or physical sensations, both the brain's limbic system and the body's energy system are engaged, encouraging a sense of safety and resolution.

Through tapping, we're able to calm the nervous system, rewire the brain to respond in healthier ways, and restore the body's balance of energy.

Thanks to the incredible work of researchers, scientists, and participants over the past 20+ years, there have been hundreds of studies conducted on proving the effectiveness of EFT Tapping.

Don’t overthink this one, it’s absolutely worth it. I’ve had so many other apps that get frustrating because you need a separate a way to keep track of yourself, but here they include a scale right in the app, genius! Maybe if they integrate a journal someday too that would be lovely, but I am so blown away at the effort and to set you up for success. I am extremely familiar with tapping and for people that are familiar with it I would like to share my experience by saying that back in the days you had to create the script for what you wanted to tap this app totally helps with that creating a script was hard and with the app at least you can get close and just change the words to help fit your needs it just gives a lot of examples here in case you have to create your own, the wording had to be a certain type of way.
