What is Tapping?

Tapping, also known as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), is a powerful holistic healing technique that has been proven to effectively resolve a range of issues. It is based on the combined principles of ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology.

The basic Tapping technique requires you to focus on a negative emotion at hand - a fear, a worry, a bad memory, an unresolved problem, or anything that's bothering you. While maintaining your mental focus on this issue, you use your fingertips to tap 5-7 times on 9 specific meridian points of the body.

Tapping on these meridian endpoints, while verbally or mentally addressing the root cause of distress, sends a calming signal from the body to the brain, allowing you to feel relaxed and in control.

How Does it Work?

Tapping makes full use of the mind-body connection, acknowledging and integrating the concepts that physical pain, disease, and mental wellbeing are intricately connected to our emotional states.

When we tap with the fingertips on specific meridian endpoints of the body, while focusing on negative emotions or physical sensations, both the brain's limbic system and the body's energy system are engaged, encouraging a sense of safety and resolution.

Through tapping, we're able to calm the nervous system, rewire the brain to respond in healthier ways, and restore the body's balance of energy.

Thanks to the incredible work of researchers, scientists, and participants over the past 20+ years, there have been hundreds of studies conducted on proving the effectiveness of EFT Tapping.

I have heard of this for a long time but never slowed down enough to try it. I knew the technique but could never think of what to say at the moment. I was so thrilled to find this ap. That it didn’t even ask for my name much less a credit card. The meditations and tapping worked! I actually do it because they guide me through it. The voices themselves are kind and reassuring. I highly recommend this ap. I will continue to use it because it works!

The Tapping Solutions app is highly effective. I admit I was skeptical at first, and did not experience its full benefits. A year later when starting a new job where I was experiencing anxiety at the amount of new tasks to learn, I tried the Tapping Solutions app again, focusing specifically on the Releasing Anxiety guided tapping. There are so many meditations that it’s impossible not to find one to help. Sometimes I select one that doesn’t reflect a current affliction with which I’m dealing that brings up ideas that are actually related to what I’m working on. It’s like a gift I almost missed.

I was introduced to Tapping soon after Nick began this journey, loved it, then life got in the way trying every new inspirational, motivational, self help mind over matter info courses, meditations etc….😏 I am not consistent with meditating. Never have been. I don’t know why I cannot, no matter what, slow my mind enough to have it be effective. I was so excited to see the app!
